Abstract

At the end of 2022, the Institute of Anthropological Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), published, as E-book, Travesías en Antropología Física. Homenaje a Carlos Serrano por 50 años de actividad científica y docente. The editorial novelty is a spectacular work of 714 pages that provides an extensive testimony of the transcendental academic career of Dr. Carlos Serrano Sanchez. Through this book tribute is paid to him as researcher and teacher. The text also reveals the restless spirit of Dr. Serrano to scrutinize the most diverse topics studied by physical anthropology in Mexico, to which he has contributed significantly throughout his fruitful academic trajectory in a way that we could catalog as encyclopedic.
