Editorial

Abstract

Dear Members of the International Society for the History of Medicine, Dear Readers of Vesalius,
It is with great pleasure that, after a long process of editorial restructuring – unfortunately accompanied by serious financial problems inherited from the past –, that I can finally announce the relaunch of our historic journal, Vesalius - Acta Internationalia Historiae Medicinae, the official journal of the International Society for the History of Medicine, a society founded in Paris in 1921, whose centenary was celebrated in 2021. 
I wish to thank the previous Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Robrecht Van Hee, Past President Prof. Dr. Giorgio Zanchin, current President Prof. Dr. Carlos Viesca, and the entire scientific board of the society (a special thought goes to Prof. Dr. Dana Baran and Prof. Dr. Luca Borghi) for their constant technical and moral support during this difficult and articulate journey.
